And almost no one ever goes up to the sniper scav. Woods can be cool because most people only go there for missions, leaving the loot behind. It's also terrible to extract from with basically only 2 exfils available, but then there's also a good chance of finding GPUs & Tetritzes. Most building materials & food can be found on Interchange so I'll go there for that, but the issue is the same as above: Stray PMCs, who on that map primarily do stash runs. You also often find a lot of dead raiders / rogues or dead players. It also has stray PMC who stay in the raid for a long time. ![]() Lighthouse had S tier loot, but now less so and it's not as easy to extract from. It's very easy to extract from and the loot is generally A tier. Both have potential for huge pay offs.Ĭlick to shrink. For money? Probably Reserve. It's also map where veterans with heavy gear like to stomp on lowbies for easy kills.Įven then focusing on Customs with at least your PMC is pretty necessary so you get those early tasks done, but with scav I would look into running e.g. Players are forced to cross each other because "spawn on A side, all extract for you are on B side" design of the game, and Customs having just few chokepoints for crossing over. When it comes to Customs it's getting recommended a lot because so many early quests are there, but it's one of most PvP heavy maps in the game. There is absolute noobs who are lost with the game and then there is those who know somewhat what they are doing, with steep vertical cliff between :D Players with thousands of hours clocked get streaks where they just piss away money and gear worth of million over one day, just because some times you have really bad time in Tarkov no matter what. The official Tarkov discord even has a Sherpa program you could look into for guidance and help. The chat areas will be full with people looking for groups and that's another way to get more advanced learning. Just set expectation and people will help. ![]() I've found plenty of people out there love guiding lower levels and teaching. The community is pretty good and helpful if you ask and upfront about your skill level and needs. Once you gain some understanding jump into discords. I'd say get the basics down, watch some videos/streams and then do a reset if you not accumulating money/progress. Just a small area can be the difference in it not working. I still search YouTube for extract videos at times if I'm not familiar with one. One for PMC (downstairs) and the one for scavs around back near the fence. Still a great resource to just watch and understand the game and progress system.įor extracting most likely you went to Old Gas but there is two extracts. Keep in mind he's experienced and some suggestions of his work better than others. ![]() Pestilly's Raid series can be helpful to watch as he starts a character fresh and records progress with tips, suggestions ect. People discount asking questions in twitch chat but it can be helpful and instantaneous in replies. Watching videos and live streams will help a lot. Game requires research but is so rewarding when it falls into place.
